When you use "after" or "before", the following can be a noun (Ex: After my English class, i had a coffee), a phrase (Ex: Before I called her, I checked my planner) or a gerund (: Ving) (Ex: After watching the game I went home.)
NG: "After/before" + regular verb. Ex: After go swimming, I wash my hair.
